Ranoda Stacking Connectors are available in 0.5 and 0.8mm centerline spacings. The stacking connectors are a dual row leaf and spring design with SMT Solder tails and retention detent features molded into the housings. The housings are polarized so they can only be mated one way. Specifications include a contact life of 100 mating cycles, a typical contact resistance of 30 m-ohms maximum, and a mating force less than 90 g/contact. Other specifications include an electrical rating of .5 A at 100 VAC, an insulation resistance of 500 M-Ohms, and a dielectric withstanding voltage of 500 VAC. The contacts are held in a high-temperature thermoplastic housing that secures the pins on pitch. The housing provides optional locating pins that guide the connectors into position when placed on a pc board. Parts are available packaged in Tape & Reel, shown below, or Tubes.
